1 | sachet | vanilla sugars |
2 | tbsp | sugar |
1 | tbsp | untreated lemon zest |
2 | tbsp | flour |
4 | slices of bread for toasting | |
3 | tbsp | Oldenburger Butter unsalted |
some cinnamon and maple syrup as preferred |

Preparation
- Whisk the milk, eggs, vanilla sugar, lemon zest and sugar. Fold in the flour and pour the mixture into a shallow casserole dish. Soak slices of bread in the egg mixture and allow excess to drip off.
- Heat butter in a frying pan per portion. Fry slices of bread in butter for approx. 3 minutes on each side.
- Serve immediately. Serve with: cinnamon and sugar and/or 1 tbsp maple syrup
